Stellan....
Please continue to pray for baby Stellan, he is not out of the woods yet and he and his family need to be lifted up in prayer. I think that Jennifer sounds as if she is hanging on by a slim thread, 11 days in the PICU is taking its toll on her and sweet baby Stellan.

Please pray for Stellan
I don't know if anyone actually reads my blog, but if you are reading this and feel led to, please pray for baby Stellan who is in a struggle for his life right now. If you don't already know who I am talking about, please click on the button on the side bar - "Pray for Stellan" - and it will lead you to his Mama's blog. Stellan has been in varying states of tachycardia since Sunday evening, and is currently flipping in and out of ventricular tachycardia, or v-tach, which can be deadly.
For those that may be unfamiliar with Stellan's story, he was diagnosed with a heart condition in utero, and the masses that routinely read McMama's (Jennifer's) blog prayed and prayed for a full healing. And he was healed, GOD performed a mighty work in Stellan, a miracle. He is four months old now. I am in awe of Jennifer and her ability to hold it together so well and trust in the Lord so fully. I would like to think if I'm ever tested in this manner that I could be as Godly a woman as she is, I'm really not sure that I could, I would want to, but I'm not sure that I would react as well as she is.
Please pray for a full recovery for Stellan and pray for Jennifer and her husband and family. These are very stressful times for them all and they can use every prayer they can get.
Father,
I lift up Stellan and his family to you and pray that you would perform a full healing for his little body. Please give Jennifer and her husband the strength to endure and stay strong in you, Lord. I pray that you would bring them the peace that passes all understanding as they await healing for Stellan.
In Jesus' precious name, I thank you for this.
Amen.

Mmmmmmm....this looks good!
Aren't these just the cutest? I love them and so does baby girl...she has her eye on several of the patterns. She liked the felt cakes, the donuts, the pizza and the movie food...so did I! The patterns are available at http://umecrafts.etsy.com/. It is a cute shop on etsy featuring felt food patterns. Check it out!

Date Night
My dear sweet hubby called a babysitter tonight for our three kiddos and took me out for a nice dinner. I can't remember the last time we went out for the evening without the kids in tow. It is currently "Lobsterfest" at Red Lobster, and I do love me some lobster...so that is where he took me. We really had a good time and enjoyed one another's company. After dinner we stopped by Goodwill - I was looking for some vintage linens for the Flirty apron swap that I'm involved in (see this site if you are interested, there is still time to sign up http://www.flirtyapronswap.blogspot.com/), but I didn't find anything, so the hunt continues. Then DH took me to Panera to grab a coffee and of course I couldn't resist a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. It was a really nice evening, we should definitely do this more often!

Spring is finally on its way and other Random thoughts...
We have finally had a break in the weather here. It's no longer freezing cold, of course the trade off is that it is grey and raining....can't win them all! I am so glad that warmer weather is on the way! Now of course here in this neck of the woods we may still have another round of snow - it wouldn't be totally unheard of, but I hope it is getting warmer for good. It felt like we really didn't have a Fall, it went straight from hot and sunny to immediately cold...I don't even think we had Indian Summer last year. So, I am welcoming the sun, rain, or whatever - as long as it is warm!!
I am currently working on the design for my tea party apron swap. My swap partner likes black and pink combo and pink and purple are her favorite colors...that kind of shot what I was originally planning to do. I have the prettiest cotton fabric with teapots and teacups on it...I've had it my stash for almost 8 years I'd say and never had the perfect project for it yet, but it is cream background and teapots/cups are in pastels and it has a soft green vine running throughout the background as well. It really is pretty, but I'm not sure it would be to my partner's liking so it's back to the drawing board. I also have an off white background fabric with shades of blue teapots/cups on it...which again doesn't fit her faves. Any suggestions? I'm having a hard time envisioning a pink and black or purple tea party apron. Really, if you have any ideas, please comment!
Well, I just heard the dryer buzz, so it's back to work I go!
